This notice explains how Bludocknet Srl processes the personal data of visitors to box4ai.com and of people who contact us through the site's forms, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

2. What data we process
- Browsing data. Like any website, the servers hosting the site log technical data such as IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser and operating system.
- Data you give us. When you fill in a form (demo, quote or information request, white paper download, NIS2 checklist, calculators and their reports, shop purchase): name, company, role, sector, email, phone, your message and the technical data or answers you enter.
- Cookies and tracking tools, only if you consent: see the cookie policy.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your requests and sending the materials you asked for (demos, quotes, reports, white papers): pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Following up on your request and presenting relevant Box4AI solutions: consent given in the form (Art. 6(1)(a)) or legitimate interest towards business contacts (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time, even simply by replying to one of our emails.
- Visit statistics and campaign measurement: only with your consent to analytics and marketing cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003).
- Security and operation of the site, abuse and spam prevention: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligations (accounting and tax), if you become a customer (Art. 6(1)(c)).
4. Recipients
Data is processed by authorised Bludocknet staff and, on our behalf, by providers appointed as processors: SiteGround (website hosting), Formspree Inc. (form collection and forwarding), our email provider and, only with your consent, Google Ireland Ltd (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads) and Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd (Microsoft Advertising). We do not sell or share data with third parties for their own purposes.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Formspree, Google, Microsoft) may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Articles 45–46 GDPR).
6. Retention
- Contact requests and leads: up to 24 months from the last contact, unless a business relationship follows.
- Customer data: for the duration of the relationship and the periods required by law (usually 10 years for accounting records).
- Server logs: for the period set by the hosting provider for security purposes.
- Cookies: for the durations stated in the cookie policy.
7. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw consent, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Write to info@bludocknet.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of your country.
8. Mandatory fields
Fields marked as mandatory in the forms are needed to handle your request; without them we cannot follow up. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
9. Changes
We may update this notice; the date of the last update is shown at the top. Processing of data within the Box4AI services provided to customers (platforms, sensors, software) is governed by the relevant contracts and data processing agreements.
